Meet Our Owner

Lisa Bowen

In 2006, as parents to three children under the age of three, owner Lisa Bowen and her husband Tim often found themselves hosting friends at home. While the kids played together, the adults enjoyed delicious food and sampled new wines. From these gatherings, Lisa drew the inspiration to open Village Wines—a welcoming wine club and retail shop designed to give the community a space “where friends gather.”

As the Woodinville wine industry began to flourish, Lisa and Tim saw an opportunity to grow. Just four years later, in 2010, they expanded and relocated Village Wines to its current spot in the heart of Woodinville’s wine country. Since then, the shop has grown to offer over 50 wines, a variety of local beers on tap, a beloved private event space, and a menu full of delicious offerings.
